Notes:
Onesikritos of Astypalaia (C4 BCE; OCD4 Onesicritus; FGrH 134) wrote an encomiastic account of Alexander the Great (whom he had served as chief helmsman) supposedly modelled on the Kyroupaideia of Xenophon (xi 47). With the present entry cf. already alpha 3274.
