Κότυς: δαίμων, παρὰ Κορινθίοις τιμώμενος, ἔφορος τῶν αἰσχρῶν. ὅθεν οἱ Κλεισθέναι καὶ Τίμαρχοι καὶ πάντες οἱ πρὸς ἀργύριον τὴν ὥραν διατιθέμενοι καὶ οἱ μὴ πρὸς ἀργύριον δέ, ἀλλὰ πρὸς ἄλλο τι, καὶ οἱ μὴ πρὸς μηδὲν ὁτιοῦν, ἀλλὰ διὰ τὴν ἐξάγιστον ἡδονήν. καθάπαξ οἱ θηλυδρίαι τριχῶν πλάσται πάντες εἰσίν.
