[Meaning he/she/it] hears.[1]
"And somehow the hearkener rejoices more than the one speaking, exulting in your pains; for if you should aim at great souls you would not miss the mark."[2] Sophocles also [writes]: "poor wretch, when she hearkens to this report, she will send forth great wailing in the entire city."[3]

Notes:
[1] Likewise or similarly in other lexica; see the references at Photius kappa800 Theodoridis. The headword is present indicative active, third person singular, of klu/w (cf. kappa 1842, kappa 1843, kappa 1844). It must be quoted from somewhere; there are numerous instances in tragedy, and Latte on Hesychius s.v. suggests Euripides, Hecuba 1094.
[2] Sophocles, Ajax 151-155 (web address 1), though the quotation here differs from the accepted readings of the tragedy in several key places. The Lloyd-Jones & Wilson OCT of Sophocles has pa=s ('every') for pws ('somehow'), le/cantos for le/gontos, and a(ma/rtoi for a(ma/rtois. The translation follows the Suda text.
[3] Sophocles, Ajax 850-851 (web address 2).
