The headword verb itself, a strengthened version of o)rga=n (omicron 519, omicron 520), is extremely rare (LSJ entry at web address 1). TLG shows it as appearing in Herodotus 6.102 (web address 2), but katorgw=ntes there is merely one of several suggested emendations for the transmitted katerga/zontes.
