The primary headword is third person plural, present indicative active, of
e)phluga/zw. This form appears in neither of the quotations in the entry; cf.
epsilon 2172. Adler cites
scholia to Lucian (25.5 Rabe) and to
Plato,
Lysis 207B,

Photius s.v.
h)lu/gh, but these passages share little in common with the present entry aside from a different form of the headword (
e)phlugi/zontai) and different forms of one or more of the many words used here as glosses. Citations of more similar texts are noted below.
