The headword is third person singular, imperfect indicative active, of e)pagge/llw (see also epsilon 2157, and cf. epsilon 1914, epsilon 1915, epsilon 1918, epsilon 2160). It might be extracted from the first quotation given here, though that seems to have its own glossing, and e)ph/ggellen is attested as early as Xenophon, Cyropaedia 7.4.2.
