Βρύχιος: βυθιζόμενος ὕδατι. καὶ Ἐμβρύοικος, ἡ ἄγκυρα ἡ τὸν βυθὸν οἰκοῦσα. καὶ Ἔμβρυον, τὸ ἐγγάστριον βρέφος. ἐν Ἐπιγράμμασι: ἄγκυρον ἐμβρύοικον ἐρυσινηί̈δα. ἐπὶ Ἡρακλείου βασιλέως σ1# χιλιάδες ἀνδρῶν διεφθάρησαν ἐν τῷ πρὸς Ἰσαύρους πολέμῳ. ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς Ἡράκλειος χρήματα πλεῖστα καὶ χρυσὸν καὶ ἄργυρον καὶ λίθους πολυτελεῖς πέμπει, ἅπερ βρύχια γέγονεν ἐπὶ Σεργίου πατριάρχου.
