Ἀνθεστηριών: ὄγδοος μήν ἐστι παρ' Ἀθηναίοις, ἱερὸς Διονύσου. κεκλῆσθαι δὲ αὐτὸν οὕτως, διὰ τὸ πλεῖστα τῶν ἐκ γῆς ἀνθεῖν τότε.
