[1] George the Monk, Chronicon 2.511.3-9 de Boor, again at beta 139 and (abridged) kappa 2444. The TLG shows that George is quoting Isidore of Pelusium Epistle 1490 (to Ausonius), although he attributes the quotation to pagan wise men (oi( tw=n e)/cw sofoi/).
