[1] For this verb cf. generally alpha 3059. Its present participle (masculine nominative singular), here, must be quoted from somewhere; same or similar glossing in other lexica.
[2] Quotation unidentifiable--but Alcibiades is evidently alpha 1280. Favuzzi (2018) 287-291 argues, convincingly, that the verb's subject is Lysandros (lambda 852), and the recipient of the letter the satrap Pharnabazos; cf. the accounts in Nepos and Plutarch.
[3] The source of the Suda's a)poskeuazo/menoi here is uncertain, but perhaps Josephus, Jewish War 1.196.
