Translation:
[Meaning] the [oath] of the opposing litigant. But [it is called] a hypomosia when, for instance, someone alleges that he was sick or some such thing. A parastasis is [the fee] given to the clerk through whom the charge has been recorded, so that it may be entered amongst the charges in writing. Each party deposits prytaneia with the treasurer, so that the case may be brought in.
