Shina (NetRecon Alumni) recently had his paper, Enabling opportunistic low-cost smart cities by using tactical edge node placement, accepted in IEEE/IFIP Wireless On-demand Network systems and Services Conference (WONS), March 9-11, 2021

His research interests are in the area of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) with emphasis in: opportunistic wireless communication for the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, smart homes, and mobile health environments.
