Translation:
The tenth part of the council of 500 [sc. in classical Athens]: 50 men from each tribe, who managed everything that the Council did. The ten tribes used to serve as prytaneis in succession to each other, drawing lots, as Aeschines shows in the [speech] Against Ktesiphon.[1]
"Already distrustful of Philip because of his bad behaviour over the Cretan question, the prytaneis then began to suspect that Herakleides was involved".[2]
