About Me

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Kentucky. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University in August 2014. I worked as a research assistant professor in the Department of EECS at Case Western Reserve University between September 2014 and July 2015, and an assistant professor in the Division of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Kentucky between August 2015 and July 2016.

My research interests lie in big data analytics, large-scale data integration and management, knowledge representation and reasoning, knowledge discovery, ontology quality assurance, information retrieval, information extraction, and text mining. In particular, my research goal is to develop software tools and algorithms to solve real-world biomedical and health informatics problems.
