Information Concerning Final Version Preparation and Registration Fees

Dear CIS04 Authors:

Here is the information related to registration fees and submission of your final manuscripts.

Please *wire transfer* your registration fees to:

Sender to Receiver Information: CIS04-PAPER###
Account Name: DONG HUA UNIVERSITY
Account Number: 044175-8300-04360808094001
Beneficiary's bank: BANK OF CHINA, SHANGHAI CHANG NING SUB-BRANCH
Address: 2067 YAN'AN ROAD(WEST) SHANGHAI, SHANGHAI, P. R. CHINA

The sender should identify himself/herself by indicating in the "Sender to Receiver Information" CIS-04-PAPER###, where ### is your paper number. We expect to receive the registration fees by August 15 for prompt processing your paper for publication. We may be able to wait until September 1 to actually receive the money, if you inform us that the money has been transferred by August 15.

Registration fees: USD $350 (USD $210 for full-time students) for a paper of LNCS 6 pages or less, for all authors outside mainland China. Publishing papers longer than 6 pages is expensive and is discouraged. If an author submits the final version of a paper that is more than 6 pages, he/she will be charged for $100 for every two additional pages. The total number of pages of any paper will not exceed 10. We also discourage authors who do not plan to present their papers at the conference (who are just interested in publishing a paper). Please withdraw your papers if you are sure that you DO NOT plan to attend the conference. As we only accept around 150 papers out of the more than 400 for presentation, we further discourage authors with multiple papers. The full registration fees are assessed on each individual paper, regardless of the authorship.

No person will publish and present more than two papers. This does not apply to the multiple papers submitted from the same group, but by different persons.

You should assume all costs related to money transfer. Due to the cost of processing international money transfer, the registration fees are non-refundable.

Authors within mainland China who wish to pay the registration fees in Chinese RMB (Yuan) should contact Dr. Ji-Huan He (jhhe@dhu.edu.cn) for details.

Authors who claim a full-time student status should ask their advisors to send an e-mail to Professor Jun Zhang (jzhang@cs.uky.edu) for verification. If the student authors are interested in the Student Paper Award, the advisor should comment on the merits of the paper and state if the student author is the major contributor of the paper, in his/her e-mail message. (A student can claim student status on only one paper, additional papers are strongly discouraged for students and will be assessed on the full registration fees.)

Note that, before submitting your final version to Dr. Zhang, please proofread your manuscript CAREFULLY to remove all grammar errors and typos. It is better to ask someone who is not an author of the paper to read through the final version. Please check your spelling before you make your final compilation to generate your pdf file. I intend to check all final manuscripts for grammar and spelling correctness, and will return all papers that below our expectation for a high quality proceedings paper. The Co-Chairs have the right to decline any papers that, by their judgment, do not meet this conference proceedings standards.

Here are some important points:

I look forward to receiving your final manuscript and meeting you in Shanghai in December.

Sincerely,

Jun Zhang
CIS'04 Co-Chair
