Multiple files should be tared into one file;
e.g. tar cvf cs3152014.tar cs315s2014, where cs315s2014 is a directory
that includes your course related files.
You may also wish to compress it into a tar.gz file.
A typical structure of portfolio directory:
- course description (from the Bulletin -- added by the office)
- syllabus
- TCE results
- Instructor's reflective statement and narrative. This part is most important and should be prepared
based on data collected from student performance on the course assignments.
In evaluating the level of achieving the course and program learning outcomes, it is critical to use specific evidence based on grading/scores
from clearly identified assignments (homework, programming, exams, projects) and from the final grades. Student Learning Objectives for most courses can be found in
CS SOL map [Spring 2016 2015] -- this map is being updated after our retreat, and
CS SOL map [before Fall 2015] -- this map is being updated after our retreat, and
(CS SOL map [before Fall 2015]), and
of course in the Course Outcomes in the supplemental questions used for your course
TCE supplemental questions [before Fall 2015].

- REQUIREMENT ADDED BY THE COLLEGE FOR 2015/2016
For ALL undergraduate courses taught this semester and next, instructors need to
keep samples of student work for quizzes and exams that will be placed in
the course binders. Each binder should contain:
- course syllabus
- copies of all HW assignments
- copies of all quizzes and exams
- copies of all project assignments
- samples of student work
For each quiz, exam and project (not HW), faculty should collect examples
of graded student work, as follows:
- 1 sample of outstanding work
- 1 sample of average work
- 1 sample of fair/poor work
- notes (examples, sample instructional materials)
- additional-materials (anything relevant you would like to include)
with subdirectories (e.g., with students sample submissions) as needed.
Fill in all the entries below.
After submission you should receive confirmation.
Each submission is time-stamped.
If you submit more than once, all submissions will be saved.
