Research Areas: Biomedical image analysis, imaging informatics, computer vision, machine
learning, high performance computing, and computer aided diagnosis

Current Project:

Biomedical Image Analysis: Object detection, segmentation and tracking for 2D/3D/4D
radiology, biology and pathology image analysis.

Image Informatics: High throughput, large scale imaging informatics system (lung cancer and
colon cancer), content based image retrieval.

Machine Learning: Robust statistics and sparse dictionary learning.

Computer Vision: Tracking in a dynamic environment, natural object recognition and
segmentation, multiple object tracking.
