A number of CS students gave presentations and demos at the Engineer's Day (E-Day 2010) held by the College of Engineering and Department of Computer Science on Saturday, February 20, 2010. This annual event promotes computer science and engineering to K-12 students as well as the general public.

"E-day is an invaluable activity in exciting the interest of young people and their families in engineering and computer science," says Dr. Thomas Lester, dean of the College of Engineering. "I'm confident that a number of those who visited us Saturday will eventually decide to pursue degrees in the College of Engineering."

The exhibits and a daylong session on "Games - Seriously!" attracted a large number of visitors. The day ended with a session for prospective CS students. Read more about E-day:
